Our Story

Born from a Passion for
Forgotten Places

One explorer. One camera. An obsession with the stories that crumbling walls still have to tell.

Hi, I’m Aladdin
Explorer & Storyteller

I’ve always been drawn to the places everyone else walks past. A rusted gate half-hidden by ivy, a boarded-up mansion at the end of a forgotten road, an old hospital corridor where the paint still peels in perfect spirals — these places speak to me in a way no modern building ever could.

What started as weekend drives down rural back roads turned into a full-time passion: documenting abandoned homes, mansions, factories, and castles before they disappear from the world forever.

Every week I publish new explorations right here on Abandoned — fresh posts, real locations, honest stories.

Urban explorer, photographer, and daily blogger obsessed with the hidden history inside abandoned mansions, homes, and forgotten places worldwide.

Every Abandoned Place Has a Story.
Someone Has to Tell It.

Abandoned is a daily blog dedicated to one simple belief: the places the world has forgotten deserve to be remembered. Behind every broken window and collapsed ceiling is a human story — a family that once gathered around a fireplace, workers who showed up every morning for decades, patients who hoped to go home.

I created this blog because I couldn’t find a single place online that treated abandoned exploration with the depth and respect it deserves. Most sites are either shock-value clickbait or dry historical records. I wanted something in between — honest, atmospheric writing paired with real photography and genuine research.

“I don’t just step inside abandoned places — I try to understand what they meant to the people who built them, lived in them, and eventually left them behind.”

— Aladdin, Founder of Abandoned

Every post I publish is researched, written, and photographed with that intention. I post daily — not to chase algorithm traffic, but because there are genuinely that many stories worth telling. The world is full of forgotten places, and I intend to document as many as I can.

The Principles Behind Every Post

  • 01
Take nothing. Leave nothing. Break nothing. The foundational rule of urban exploration. Every site I visit is left exactly as I found it. The stories belong to history, not to me.
  • 02
Research before you step inside. Every post starts with history. Who built this place? Who lived here? What happened? The photography comes second to understanding what you’re looking at.
  • 03
Honesty over drama. There’s no need to exaggerate. Abandoned places are extraordinary on their own. I write what I actually see and feel — nothing more, nothing less.
  • 04
Daily publishing, daily discovery. A new post every single day. Because the world has more forgotten stories than most people realize, and I intend to share as many as possible.
